My project NINNA is inspired by Chinese female architect Lin Huiyin's "You are the world April day" "You are the flowers blooming from one tree to the other, you are the swallow whispering between the beams, you are love and warmth, It is hope, you are the April day of the world!" The word "Ni Nan" (Ni Nan) is used in the poem to describe the cry of swallows, and Nanjing (Nanjing) is abbreviated as "Ning" (Ning), so the project NINNA (lullaby is A soothing melody sung to children, making people feel relaxed and good) was born. Through a series of questionnaires, I designed the brand of my city Nanjing from the perspective of dialect. I combined dialect and sound visualization, and used the form of sound waves and sound spectrum to show the unique charm of the city of Nanjing. In my project, I extracted the sound waves and sound spectrum of common words in dialects and redesigned them. The visual communication pursues to use images to mobilize the five senses. I hope to express the ancient culture in Nanjing dialect through images.
The phonetic alphabet element is mainly used in the logo design, the letter "N" is used in the logo, which is the letter in the “NINAN”，which is also the first letter of Nanjing. The overall shape also symbolizes the city gate.
